Columbia College Chicago Theatre alum Jackson Anderson ’24, who graduated with a double major in Musical Theatre Performance (BFA) and Theatre Design and Technology (BA), is featured in the U.S. premiere of Throbbin Wood, an adult pantomime by British playwright and panto artist Tom Whalley. Presented by the LGBTQ-focused PrideArts theatre company, this bawdy holiday sendup of the Robin Hood legend holiday entertainment runs November 15 through December 15 at the Pride Arts Center, located at 4139 N. Broadway in Chicago. Student discounts are available. For tickets, click here.
Like the previous Whalley pantos PrideArts has presented, including Jack Off the Beanstalk and Sleeping with Beauty, Throbbin Wood will include songs, dances, and audience participation along with a nonstop barrage of clever and shameless puns.
