Beneath the Willow Tree is a spiritual family drama that tells the tale of three generations of black women, the Bordeaux family. When Willow Bordeaux returns home to Louisiana from New York University with a new love interest, uprooted family secrets send the family down a path of trampled traditions and unpacked trauma. The family must find a way back to each other through healing and acceptance.
