Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Ricky Lurie ’09, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design, is the co-costume designer for the new Broadway musical Harmony, which opened November 13, 2023, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, located at 243 W. 47th St. in New York City’s midtown Manhattan theatre district.

Based on the true story of the Comedian Harmonists, a popular vocal group of the 1920s and ’30s, Harmony features a score by Barry Manilow.

Ricky Lurie

Lurie‘s prior Broadway credits include serving as associate costume designer on the 2023 revival of Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House and on the 2017 musical Anastasia. Following his graduation from Columbia College, he earned an MFA in Production and Costume Design from Ohio University.
