Alumni of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department are on the creative team of The Duchess of Malfi, presented by Babes With Blades Theatre Company September 9 through October 21 at the Factory Theatre, located at 1623 W. Howard in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood. The classic drama by John Webster concerns a widowed 17th-century aristocrat whose romantic choices are opposed, violently, by the men in her family. The production’s creative team includes Columbia College alums Marcus Klein ’23, Rose Hamill ’16, and Line Bower ’22, all graduates of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design and Technology. Klein, Hamill, and Bower are the show’s scenic designer, production manager, and technical director respectively.
