Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Shantel Cribbs ’17, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance, is featured in the musical Fela!, running July 7 through August 13 at the Olney Theatre Center in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Olney, Maryland. The show, a coproduction of Olney Theatre Center and Round House Theatre, uses the songs of Pan-African superstar Fela Kuti tell the story of his final concert at the legendary Afrika Shrine nightclub in Lagos, Nigeria.
