Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumnus Michael Peters ’05, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, is featured in Stage Left Theatre‘s Man of the People, running October 25 through November 20 at Chicago Dramatists, located at 1105 W. Peters plays John Brinkley, a quack doctor and radio celebrity in 1920s America, who peddled a supposed remedy for male impotence in the days before medical regulation in the United States. Based on historical fact, Man of the People explores the public’s love affair with charlatans.
