Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department Alums and Faculty Bring ‘Songs for Nobodies’ to Northlight Theatre through Oct. 31

Alumni and faculty of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department are bringing the musical theatre event Songs for Nobodies to Northlight Theatre, located at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts at 9501 Skokie Boulevard in the Chicago suburb of Skokie. The show, running through October 31, stars former Columbia College Theatre Department student Bethany Thomas in a program of songs associated with iconic divas Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf, and Maria Callas. Theatre Department faculty member Andra Velis Simon is the musical director. Columbia College alum Jesse Klug ’05, a graduate of the Theatre Department‘s Theatre Design program, is the lighting designer, and Columbia alum and faculty member Adrian Azevedo ’15, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing program, is assistant director.
