Kevin Wiczer

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Kevin Wiczer ’05, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, is directing the musical Something Rotten!, running September 25 through October 24 at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, located at 150 E. Wood in the Chicago suburb of Palatine. Presented by Theatre Nebula, the production marks Cutting Hall’s grand reopening after the pandemic shutdown of 2020-2021.

A Broadway hit in 2015, Something Rotten! is a hysterical, joyous celebration of everything you love about Broadway. It’s set in Renaissance England, where the biggest celebrity is a playwright named William Shakespeare. It concerns two brothers, Nick and Nigel Bottom, who are trying to out-Bard the Bard by writing the world’s very first musical. For tickets, click here.
