Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni and faculty members are bringing a new version of Henrik Ibsen’s classic drama A Doll’s House to the stage of Chicago’s Raven Theatre February 6 through March 22.
The show’s cast includes Columbia College alum Carmen Liao ’19, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Acting. And Caitlin Dobbins, a senior in the Columbia College Theatre Department’s Musical Theatre program, is an understudy.
The Chicago premiere of Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt’s adaptation of the 1879 drama features scenic design by Jacqueline Penrod, associate chair of the Columbia College Theatre Department.
Columbia College alum Ariel Etana Triunfo ’19, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre, is the show’s choreographer.
And Columbia College alum Cody Estle ’11, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing program, is Raven’s artistic director.
