Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department Alum Directs Debut of Woodstock Opera House’s Resident Community Theatre with ‘Mamma Mia!’ Oct. 4-20

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Barry R. Norton ’87, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre, directs the debut production of Theatre 121, the new resident community theatre company of the historic Woodstock Opera House in Woodstock, Illinois. The company’s inaugural season opens on Friday, October 4, with the musical Mamma Mia! Theatre 121 was created through the merger of two previous Woodstock Opera House resident theatres, TownSquare Players and the Woodstock Musical Theatre Company. Norton, who is the artistic director of the new company, is also the production’s scenic designer. For more information, click here.
