Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Tia DeShazor ’07, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre, stars in The New Black Leading Lady, a concert of songs with lyrics by DeShazor from three new musicals written with composers Derrick Byars, Johyn Sloan III, and Andy Roninson.

Also performing in the concert is Columbia College alum Danielle Jackman ’15, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Dance from the Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago.
