We Are the Tigers, a new musical by Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumnus Preston Max Allen ’13, begins its Off-Broadway run February 7 at Theatre 80 St. Marks, located at 80 St. Marks Place in New York’s East Village. With an official opening scheduled for February 21, the production is slated for a limited engagement through April 17.

Allen, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting who also took courses in the Theatre Department’s Musical Theatre and Comedy programs, wrote the book, music, and lyrics for this teen horror comedy about a dismally low-ranking team of cheerleaders trying to survive the night while being terrorized by a serial killer.
