Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Courtney Mack ’15, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Musical Theatre Performance BFA program, stars in Ghost The Musical, running September 13 through October 14 at Theatre at the Center in Munster, Indiana. This is the first Chicago-area regional production of the musical, which is based on the hit 1990 film Ghost. Mack plays Molly Jensen, the widow of a murdered man whose ghost attempts to communicate with her with the help of a storefront psychic.
Mack’s previous Chicago-area theatre credits include lead roles in Tonya and Nancy: The Rock Opera, Urinetown, and Heathers: The Musical, for which she received the 2016 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in a Principal Role in a Musical.
Ghost The Musical is directed and choreographed by Theatre at the Center’s artistic director Linda Fortunato, a former faculty member in the Columbia College Theatre Department’s Musical Theatre Program. For tickets, call 219-836-3255 or click here.
