Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni and former students are featured in the musical Legally Blonde, running September 5 through October 21 at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora, Illinois.

The cast includes Columbia College alums Teressa LaGamba ’13, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, and Mallory Maedke ’14 and Maria Alejandra Montero Guzman ’18, both graduates of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance. Kory Danielson, a former student in the Theatre Department’s Musical Theatre program, is the music director.
Based on the popular movie starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde has heart, big dance numbers, comedy, devastating ballads and more. This “story of rising to a challenge and defying expectations, all while looking fabulous,” concerns a California sorority sister who decides to win back her boyfriend’s love by getting into Harvard Law School.
