Victor Holstein

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumnus Victor Holstein ’04, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, has joined the cast of the hit play Southern Gothic, which has recently been extended through August 26 at the Windy City Playhouse in Chicago.

Set in 1961 Georgia, the play concerns four couples — old college friends who’ve known each other for decades — who gather to celebrate the 40th birthday of one of their group. But even best friends keep secrets, and over the course of this evening’s party, a few of those are bound to be revealed. As the evening progresses, celebration leads to disaster as relationships are heavily tested. With just 30 audience members per performance, this intimate, immersive production allows viewers to wander about the “set” at their own leisure as they overseeing all the juicy drama unfolding up close.
