The 2017 film LBJ, costarring Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumnus Michael Stahl-David ’05, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, has just been released on Blu-ray and iTunes.

Stahl-David costars as American political icon Robert F. Kennedy opposite Woody Harrelson as President Lyndon B. Johnson in director Rob Reiner’s drama LBJ, which explores Johnson’s conflicts with Kennedy during and after the presidency of Kennedy’s brother, John F. Kennedy.

Next month, a short film directed by Stahl-David, We Win, will receive its world premiere at the 2018 SXSW (South by Southwest) film festival in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1987, SXSW is best known for its conference and festivals that celebrate the convergence of the interactive, film, and music industries. The event, an essential destination for global professionals, features sessions, showcases, screenings, exhibitions, and a variety of networking opportunities. Stahl-David is also the executive producer and co-writer of We Win. SXSW 2018 takes place March 9-18.
