stars Matt Maxwell as Gustav Klimt, the renowned painter of The Kiss
, as he wrestles with a life-altering decision while also attempting to secure a sizable commission from a woman of Viennese society. The performance will start at 7:30 p.m. The Judith Racht Gallery is located at 13689 Prairie Road, Harbert, Michigan.
Written and directed by Susan Padveen, The Portrait features scenic design by Theatre Department Associate Chair Jacqueline Penrod; costume design by Columbia College alum Alaina Moore ’13, a graduate of Columbia’s art and design program; and props design by Devon Green, a student in the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design.
