Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumnus Alex Newkirk ’11, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance, is featured in Carrie 2: The Rage (An Unauthorized Musical Parody), running October 13-November 19 at The Arkham, located at 4609 N. Clark in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. This irreverent meta-musical — a world premiere from Underscore Theatre Company — pokes fun at the entire “Carrie” canon through a punchy, rock-infused score.
