Columbia College Chicago Theatre and Business Alums Bring ‘Distracted’ to the Stage Sept. 8-Oct. 7

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni are in the cast and production team of Distracted, presented by the Cuckoo’s Theatre Project September 8-October 7 at Prop Thtr, 3502 N. Elston, Chicago. The cast includes alums Sierra Buffum ’17, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, and Dana Young-Chaifeny ’10, a graduate of the BA Program in Theatre.

Alumnus Michael Joseph ’16, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design, is the show’s lighting designer. And alum Jackie McCollough ’18, a graduate of the Columbia College Chicago Business and Entrepreneurship Department‘s BA Program in Arts Management, is the assistant stage manager.
Lisa Loomer’s drama Distracted focuses on a family concerned about the behavior of their 9-year-old son, unable to figure out whether he’s dysfunctional or just different.
