Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department Alums Featured in Festival of Women Playwrights May 2-3

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alums Cassandra Rose ’10, Reeny Hofrichter ’10, and Lyndee McPeek ’11 are among the playwrights whose new work will be featured in the 2017 Chicago One-Minute Play Festival: “Nevertheless, We Persisted.”

The marathon evening of one-minute plays by more than 60 of Chicago’s established and emerging woman-identified playwrights and directors plays two nights only — Tuesday-Wednesday, May 2-3, at the Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee, in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. Performances are at 8 PM each night.

Rose is a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Playwriting program. Hofrichter and McPeek are graduates of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting.
