Columbia College Chicago Musical Theatre Students Featured in Porchlight Music Theatre’s ‘Little Me’ Feb. 28-March 2

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department students Elya Faye Bottiger and Tyler Symonè are featured in Porchlight Music Theatre’s staged concert rendition of the classic musical Little Me, running February 28-March 2 at Stage 773, located at 1225 W. Belmont, in Chicago’s Belmont Theatre District.

Bottiger, a senior in the Columbia College Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance, plays the lead female role of Young Belle Poitrine, a social-climbing actress in the silent movie era, in this 1962 musical version of the comic novel by Patrick Dennis. Symonè, a sophomore in the Musical Theatre Performance BFA program, plays the supporting role of Mrs. Kepplewhite.

Little Me has a script by Neil Simon and a score by composer Cy Coleman and lyricist Carolyn Leigh.
