Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department Alumni and Faculty Bring Shirley Jackson’s Ghost Story ‘The Sundial’ to the Stage Jan. 6-Feb. 12

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni and faculty members are involved in the world premiere of The Sundial, Northwestern University professor Paul Edwards’ new stage adaptation of the 1958 novel by Shirley Jackson. The show, which runs January 6-February 12 at City Lit Theatre, is a philosophical ghost story set in a haunted mansion.

The cast includes Columbia College Theatre Department alum Sheila Willis ’94. The production team includes costume designer Patti Roeder, a Columbia College faculty member and manager of the Theatre Department’s costume shop. And alumnus David Yondorf ’08, a graduate of the Acting program and now a teacher of stage combat in the Columbia College Theatre Department’s Stage Combat Minor, is the production’s violence choreographer. City Lit’s artistic director, Terry McCabe, is a Columbia College Theatre Department faculty member.
