Travis Coe

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumnus Travis Coe (BA ’15), a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Acting BA program, is featured in The Few, running April 9-May 21 at Steep Theatre. This Chicago premiere of Samuel D. Hunter’s drama concerns three people — a middle-aged man and woman and their assistant, a 19-year-old would-be poet played by Coe — who put out a newspaper for long-haul truckers. The play is set in rural Idaho in 1999, with the fear of a “Y2K” collapse of civilization hanging over the characters.

The show’s creative/production team includes dramaturg Maggie Rogers (BA ’14), a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing program.
