Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni Claire Chrzan (BA ’11) and Jon Beal (BA ’11) are on the production team for the New Colony‘s Halloween-season production The Terrible, a world premiere by Morgan McNaught.

Chrzan, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design, is the show’s lighting designer.

Jon Beal

Beal, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, is the production’s violence coach.

The dark comedy concerns a performance artist who wakes up dead in a weird room with a psychiatrist, a rake, and a singer. The show runs October 16-November 21 at the Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee, in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. For tickets, click here.
