Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department faculty members Tom Mula and Linda Fortunato are directing two of the five shows in this summer’s lineup at Peninsula Players, America’s oldest resident summer theatre, located in Fish Creek, Wisconsin.
Mula is staging the season opener–the world premiere of A Real Lulu, a new comedy by Paul Slade Smith. The play, about a novice politician being groomed by a team of experts for his new job as governor of Vermont, runs June 16-July 5.
Fortunato, a cast member in A Real Lulu, is also directing Ken Ludwig’s door-slamming farce Lend Me a Tenor, running July 29-August 16.
