Who Is Eligible to Enter?
To be considered for the Fox Pest Control Future Leaders Scholarship, entrants (“Entrants”) must meet the following requirements:
- Current college students currently enrolled in a four-year or two-year program, taking a minimum of twelve credit hours; or students who have been accepted to a four-year or two-year program for the Spring 2027 semester. All students must submit a Spring/Fall 2026 class schedule upon request;
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above;
- Must be a U.S. citizen;
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; and
- Must permanently reside in: Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, or Washington.
None of the following are eligible to be an Entrant: employees, immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, or spouse) of employees, or those living in the same household (whether related or not) of employees of Sponsor or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, promotion agencies, or other entities involved in the development, administration, or fulfillment of the Contest; or any individuals involved in the development, administration, or fulfillment of the Contest (collectively, the “Contest Entities”).
Essay Requirement
Entrants must submit a 500-1000-word essay (“Essay”) on the following topic:
“What does leadership mean to you, and how have you demonstrated leadership through your actions in your community?”
As part of the Essay, Entrants must also reflect on one of Fox Pest Control’s core values listed below (“Core Value(s)”) and explain how it has impacted their leadership journey. Please choose only one of the following Core Value topics:
- Extreme Ownership – Taking full responsibility for actions, outcomes, and personal growth
- Lift Where You Stand – Making a difference right where you are, regardless of circumstances
We encourage Entrants to provide real-life examples of leadership, personal growth, and the impact they’ve made on others.
Community Involvement Requirement
In addition to the Essay, Entrants should outline their community involvement, detailing:
- The volunteer work or service activities they have participated in
- The impact their involvement has had on their community
- Why community service is important to them
We value Entrants who are actively working to make a meaningful difference in their local communities.

- A completed application form;
- A 500-1000-word essay on the required topic; and
- A summary of your community involvement
