The Key Thinkers Scholarship awards academically qualified students with a $1,000 USD Scholarship to one (1) eligible recipient twice a year (coinciding with the application and academic term schedule below). There will be a total of two (2) Recipients of the Scholarship per academic year. The sponsor offers the Scholarship to post-secondary students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. This is an opportunity for students to be a voice in the growing conversation about financial responsibility.
To be eligible for the Scholarship, the student applying must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be a US citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student at a post-secondary institution, including an accredited college, university, or trade school, in the United States.
- Possess a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (note: incoming post-secondary students are eligible).
Essay:
Key Thinkers Scholarship applicants shall submit an essay responding to the following question:
What does financial responsibility mean to you and what steps should students take to plan their budget?
