It’s Valentine’s Day. Well, it is when I’m writing this, so I thought I would do a post on things I love, in no particular order.

1. Journalism

You can read alllll about why I love journalism on my meet the blogger page. Here are some journalism-themed valentines that make me chuckle. You can find them all here.

2. Nathan!

That’s right. It’s totally cheesy, but I said it. And that is all I’ll say about it. Here is a funny picture of us from a friend’s wedding.

3. The cohorts in my program

One way to make strong bonds is by going through something with somebody. The Journalism MA program is the perfect breeding ground for building said bonds. Even though there is some sense of competition, or the promise of competition in the future, here are some people that understand everything you are going through—and they are pretty great.

4. Tea and writing. Tea while writing. Tea. Writing.

I can’t do anything without tea, but I so often talk about my need and love for coffee. Obviously, you can love both tea and coffee, but they meet different needs. I never reach for coffee when I need comfort or warmth or after a long day to unwind. I love drinking tea after a long day of reporting. I put the kettle on and open up my laptop, ready to write with a cup of tea. Mmm. Just talking about it makes me want some.
