Believe it or not, the Fall semester is almost over. Unfortunately, before you can head back home for the holidays, you’ve got final exams to take, papers to write, and presentations to make. The Columbia Library is here to help.
Quiet Spaces to Study – Do you find it hard to study in your dorm room? The Library has plenty of quiet spaces for individual and group study. There is a quiet study zone on the 3rd Floor. You can also go online and reserve study rooms in advance. Simply use the EMS Web Client. Study rooms are also available on a walk-in basis. There are also plenty of study spots on the 5th and 4th floors including the Blum Conference Room and Lurie Lounge.
Books to Help You Prepare for Finals – The Library has a variety resources designed to help you during finals week. We’ve got books specifically designed to help art and media students take finals; books to help you memorize facts for finals; books to help you develop study strategies; books to help you become a strategic learner; books to help dyslexic students; books to help you develop self-confidence; and more. Explore the catalog, or stop by 2nd floor Ask Desk, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
