Tuesday November 7th, 2018 is the date for midterm elections across the country, and the folks at National Voter Registration Day have put together information to help with voting questions.

Not sure where candidates stand?  Need to find out where your polling place is located? They’ve got you covered for these and other questions with the links below.

Election Day Resources

  • Find Your Polling Place — Help direct voters to where they can cast their ballot with polling place locators from Premier Partners Democracy Works (creators of GetToThePolls.com and the Voter Information Project’s embeddable widget), Rock the Vote, and Vote.Org. You can also find state-specific tools at your state election office web site.  To find polling places in Illinois, click here.
  • Candidate Guides — There are literally hundreds of elected officials looking for votes tomorrow and people need help sorting through what they all stand for. Point them to robust guides at GetToThePolls.com, Ballotpedia, Ballot Ready, and Vote411.
  • Discount Rides to the Polls — While Premier Partner Lyft led the way, we’re seeing other ride-share services offer discounted rides for voters looking to get to the polls. Find out more about Lyft, Uber and Lime.
  • Election Day Hotlines866-OUR-VOTE isn’t just a handy phone number, it’s a robust resource for every citizen’s voting needs if they have questions or experience problems at the polls. It’s also available in Spanish at 866-VE-Y-VOTA, several Asian languages at 888-API-VOTE, and in Arabic at 844-YALLA-US.
