#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.  Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

During this holiday season (and throughout the year),  please consider  giving to the Columbia College Chicago Library through the Friends of the Library.  Contributions to the Friends support and enhance ongoing collection building, program development, and facilities and technology initiatives in order to meet the ever changing needs of our community of students, faculty, staff and users of the Library. Recent purchases through the Friends include DSLR and GoPro cameras and other media equipment for student use in all academic departments.  And there is much more we can do for our students with your help.

Join us in our efforts towards ensuring that the Columbia College Chicago Library maintains its high standards of student support and the long term provision of collections and services for future generations. In doing so, your support provides a positive impact upon the academic, artistic, cultural and intellectual needs of our library users.
