Columbia College Chicago Library will be one of many libraries around the country participating in “An Evening with Neil Gaiman” sponsored by the American Library Association’ Campaign for America’s Libraries and the Jessamine County (Ky.) Public Library. Neil Gaiman is also this year’s Honorary Chair of National Library Week. He won the 2009 Newbery Medal for his work, “The Graveyard Book.”
This presentation will feature a live interview via streaming video of Mr. Gaiman discussing his life-long love of libraries and the role they play in a democratic society by supporting intellectual freedom.
