Caryn Capotosto is an award-winning documentary producer known for Won’t You Be My Neighbor, the acclaimed Mister Rogers documentary that garnered accolades including an Independent Spirit Award, a Gotham Audience Award and a Critics Choice Award for Best Documentary.

She received a 2016 News and Documentary Emmy Award Award for her role as Co-Producer on Best of Enemies and she was Associate Producer on the Academy Award and Grammy Award-winning documentary, 20 Feet from Stardom (2013). Her feature docs include Afghan Cycles (Executive Producer, 2018),  The Music of Strangers: Yo-Yo Ma and The Silk Road Ensemble (Associate Producer, 2015), and Filmage: The Story of Descendents / ALL (Co-Producer, 2014).

Other recent projects include the documentary series’ Ugly Delicious (Executive Producer, 2018) and Shangri-La, slated to air on Showtime in 2019.
