Sirens perform on the second Sunday of every month at 8:00pm at Second City’s new deMaat Theater on the 3rd floor of Piper’s Alley, located at the corner of North Avenue and Wells Street @ 1608 N Wells St. Every show will begin with a short improv set from a group of young women studying at the Second City Conservatory who have taken a Sirens workshop earlier that day, followed by a 45 minute Sirens show. It’s going to be an amazing night celebrating students, Sirens, and Second City! Tickets are $10 ($8 students, $5 Second City students).

Sirens is the longest running all-women improv group in the country. Reviewers hail these “fearless comedic temptresses,” saying their scenes are “so perfect in their specificity and boast such well-realized characters that they sometimes resemble scenes from a well-written play.” The Sirens’ song is one of joy and confidence. These veterans lure audiences with energy, abandon, inventiveness and intelligence in dynamic improv forms they’ve created like Paper Trail, Paso Doble, Chicken Scratch, and Token Male.
