Theater director and perfume maker Kellen Walker (’15 MFA Interdisciplinary Arts alumna) and her collaborators are launching an Indiegogo campaign which ultimately will fund the next restage of the Western Drive performance set for January 2016 in Austin, Texas.

The collaborators found a venue to host this scent-focused performance in a non-festival format, thus fundraising begins (via the performance’s perfume sales) to afford renting out the performance and rehearsal space. This is an experiment Walker has pondered since her masters thesis research at Columbia College Chicago. She tailored her scent and performance art practice to sell packaged perfumes featured in her performance work in order to fund future theatrical productions. It is with great excitement that Kellen Walker Productions announces the launching of Western Drive perfumes! More information can be found on the Indiegogo link:
