Hunter College of Film & Media Studies is searching for two lab instructors for four lab sections of our introductory digital media production course – MEDP 150. To the students, the course consists of one lecture and lab each week. If you are interested in teaching two labs of MEDP 150 in the fall, please write me – rmira@hunter.cuny.edu and include your CV and portfolio link and describe your level of experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML/CSS/Web Production and comfortable in instructing students in the use of a digital SLR for photography (SONY Alpha 3000).

The lab instructor position is a 60 hour commitment. Each instructor teaches two labs and attend the lectures that are scheduled for Wednesdays from 7:10-9pm. Both labs and lectures meet once a week, the labs consist of approximately 15 students. I am copying below available labs.

Beyond teaching the labs, lab instructors track student attendance and grade all student work (assignments, midterm and final).

The Hunter College fall semester runs from Thursday August 27th through Wednesday December 16th.
