Sid Yiddish’s Busy Spring


Second-year Interdisciplinary Arts & Media student Sid Yiddish appears in the new Monk 9 music video, Leave Me Alone, as himself. His composition, Man Titties appears in the 10th music show podcast of “Zack-In-The-Hat,” hosted by Hollywood Video Game Kill-Bot. The podcast is based in southern California. . Sid Yiddish And His Indianapolis Henchmen will perform on Friday, May 8, 2015, at Big Car Collaborative’s Noise-A-Thong II in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Furthermore, Yiddish will take part in Tic Toc, which presents varying performance art across campus in strategic places, is an integral part of Columbia’s annual Manifest, an end-of-year school street showcase celebration of student work on May 15, 2015. Yiddish will present, Good Mourning-Good Mourning, a performance piece that contains a shredded thread of what life and death can be like when positivity is a part of the equation.


His band, Candy Store Henchmen, plus his spoken word, will appear on Chicago-based blues guitarist Cousin Bones’ latest CD release, Tastes Like Chicken in mid-May.
