Western Drive, media student Kellen Walker’s thesis project, is having its first open rehearsal at Links Hall‘s Play Lab on Friday, March 20 from 9:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Play Lab is weekly programming at Links Hall led by artist Lara Oppenheimer where a topic is led and explored by different artists each week. Walker’s topic to explore will be scent as a part of an art practice. She will be testing our first rounds of rehearsal research to our first audience at this Play Lab. Mostly, participants be smelling trails of aromas leaving behind scented dancers’ bodies as they move. The scents all derive from trees specific to an autobiographical region of Walker’s past.

All are invited to come– suggested donation of a dollar or two to go toward the space rental.
