Drama Students Performing In Public Places – Tonight!

Chicago-Skyline

Enjoy an evening of site-specific and site-responsive performances performed around Columbia and the south loop. The performances are 6:30-9:30 p.m., beginning in the Raw Space on the 2nd floor of 1104 S Wabash. Spaces like parking garages, the street, the CTA trains, and bridges off Michigan are only a snippet of a preview of where performers will be showing work.

In the style of Shakespeare in the Park,  Jenny Magnus’ drama class will be guiding you around the city in a map they have created. This is an opportunity for the students to perform work outside of the black box to give it more of a context with the place they either tailor and write the work for (site-specific), or perform the work in a different context (site-responsive).
