Studio Art, Video Artist. We welcome applications for a full-time, one-year leave replacement position at the visiting assistant professor level in the Department of Art & Art History, beginning fall term 2015. Teach beginning and advanced courses in video art as a studio practice focused on the moving image and the introductory studio course that spans theory and practice across artistic media. Contribute to ongoing film and media programming in Golden Auditorium, a state-of-the-art 150-seat theater with 35mm projection. The successful candidate will also contribute one course to Colgate’s interdisciplinary Film and Media Studies program and/or the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. Completion of the MFA is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire. Five course load.
