Thesis-year students Janelle Dowell and Christopher Bednash are leading an event “Compassion Ain’t Always Safe” about the life, activism, spirituality, radical ideas, and the societal lynching of Martin Luther King on Sunday February 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Life Force Arts Center in Lakeview. They will be exploring King’s life through stories, video projections, audio clips, songs, and more!

Life Force Arts Center is located at 1609 W. Belmont, Chicago IL 60657, on the southwest corner  of  the intersection of Belmont, Lincoln and Ashland Avenues.
