This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday faculty member Bryan Saner will be performing TESTIMONIUM with Every House Has a Door, directed by Lln Hixson, Dramaturged by Matthew Goulish, at Links Hall/Constellation, 3111 N Western Ave. in Chicago. Shows start at 7:00 p.m.

Writes Saner:
“It is a concert by the band Joan of Arc. (Tim Kinsella, Theo Katsaounis and Bobby Burg)
It is a performance by Stephen Fiern
it is a recitation of Charles Reznikoff’s objectivist poetry by me.

I have been fortunate to have collaborated with the above people for many years and in relationship with so many who have supported the work and sustained through Links Hall/Constellation as a venue for this work.”

Though TESTIMONIUM has been performed before at the storefront in October 2013, this is the performance about justice, law, physical gravity, balance, songs and sound. It is based on the writing of Chales Reznikoff. There are some new movements that the company developed while performing it in Bourges, France last year.
