All interns are provided with a bi-weekly stipend, a private room in the neighboring Anne Atwood house, and unlimited studio access.

November 15th Deadlines
Each year WSW awards two Art-in-Ed Artists’ Book Grants for artists to create an artists’ book and teach young people through our Art-in-Education (AIE) program,Hands on Art. The residents teach one to two days per week for three to four weeks in our studios. Fall residents will work with high school students, and spring residents will work with students in elementary and middle school.
The Artists’ Book Residency Grant enables artists to produce a limited edition book work at WSW. Over six to eight weeks, artists print and bind their own books. We encourage an edition size between 50 and 100.
