He also has his own group, Frank Frank, which he leads with two other people and performs with regularly. Wancket credits the Interdisciplinary Arts MA program with widen his understanding of the greater arts community, which will be crucial in his new work as a performance reviewer. He also further honed his writing skills while working on his MA, and also is working on a creative writing practice in addition to the critical writing he is doing for the Chicago Stage Standard. Wancket currently publishes The Tao of Steven, which is a blog and twitter feed (follow @insidesteven) of a fictional character who suffers through the small miseries in daily life. Wancket aims to publish the trials of Steven as a book, and is excited to have more opportunities open to him in writing as his art practice grows.
