Third-year Interdisciplinary Arts & Media studentSid Yiddish will appear on the weekly regional cable television movie horror program, Crimson Theater, hosted by Dr. Dorian Destruction, on July 5: in Kenosha on Channel 25, in Racine on Channel 14 & in Milwaukee on Channel 25.
Furthermore, Yiddish’s group Sid Yiddish And His Candy Store Henchmen have been booked on the reality web series Fameish, hosted by comedian Darwin Doobers. Shooting for the series begins in July, with a scheduled episode to air sometime this fall.
Yiddish recently appeared on After Hours radio program, on WGN-AM 720, hosted by Chicago Tribune columnist Rick Kogan, to discuss his new film documentary, Sid Yiddish, Sunday, June 22. He wasjoined by 2014 Columbia College MFA film graduates, Ryan Buckley, film director & Zach Mehrbach, film cinematographer. The documentary, which took nearly 3 years to complete, follows Yiddish around Evanston, Chicago, and New York City during Fall 2011.
