First-year InterArts media student Julynn Wilderson will be performing She said/she said on Friday, May 9 as part of Set 6 hosted by The Swell, a Chicago arts cooperative. The evening of sharing of work by artists in a variety of disciplines will take place at Canvas in Wicker Park 2313 W. North Ave, Chicago.

She said/she said is a ghost hunt for a specter of chronic pain that has haunted a family for three generations. Through a mytho-biographical re-imagination of ritual baking, alcoholic escapism, repressive home making, and stoicism, the piece struggles with what it means to attend, what is means to maintain an unresolvable relationship to pain, and how to converse with ghosts to confront a tumultuous inheritance.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
