The Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts, Department of Studio Art invites applicants for a full-time, visiting faculty position in Digital Art. This is a one-year position to begin in the fall 2014.
We are seeking candidates with evidence of a national exhibition record and active professional achievement; qualified to engage with students at BA, BFA and MFA levels in The School of Fine Art’s Digital Art (DART) program. Successful candidates will teach five (5) courses during the academic year. Teaching responsibilities will consist of digital media courses of all levels, including video, digital imaging, Adobe Dreamweaver and Flash, and BFA/MFA seminar with the curriculum in the fine arts context. Service responsibility includes organizing student events, assisting lab maintenance and participating in DART area meetings, faculty meetings and school functions. Attendance at critiques for BFA and MFA students is required. Studio space provided when available.
Qualified candidates must have an MFA. Two years of teaching experience past the MFA is preferred. (Please DO NOT apply if you do not meet these criteria.)
