InterArts alumni Michelle Graves and Michael Chad St. John are co-teaching a class at the 32Forty Art Center in Bridgeport called Writing from the Body. The class is for writers who crave alternative methods from their usual routines of sitting down at their desks to compose.

They will be exploring task-oriented performance, text-as-image, collaborative writing, surrealist games, chance operations, and more for this 8-week course. The goal is to have every student finish with a writing portfolio of unexpected work and the methods/habits/skills to integrate into their own writing practice for the future.

The launch date is Thursday, March 6th, from 6-9pm, and the class will meet every Thursday through April 10th at 32Forty.
