The Field Museum is looking for an Online Media Producer to help build the brand of its educational YouTube show, The Brain Scoop, on a global level by overseeing and executing video production and collaborating on the pursuit of new opportunities for growth.
The Brain Scoop is a weekly educational YouTube channel devoted to exploring the ongoing behind-the-scenes work of natural history museums, and is filmed out of the collections of The Field Museum. It aims to make science education engaging, fun, and easy to understand. The entirety of the show is created by the show’s host, researcher and writer, with the help of one media producer. In the year since its launch, The Brain Scoop has gained a large and loyal international following and has traveled across the United States, with overseas field expeditions planned for upcoming episodes.
