The School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s (SAIC) Department of Printmedia announces a full-time, tenured or tenure track-position, beginning August 2014.
The department seeks candidates with an accomplished studio practice that complements the department’s commitment to a broad use and interpretation of contemporary printmedia and related disciplines. The ideal candidate is capable of teaching across the present curriculum and contributing to its development, and is well versed in critical theory within contemporary art. Rank and salary are commensurate with quality of scholarship or practice, extent of teaching experience, and current professional standing.
Qualifications
MFA or terminal degree and a minimum of three years experience teaching at the college level are required. The ideal candidate will have a nationally/internationally recognized practice, and a strong exhibition record or accomplishments within his/her field of cultural production.
